FORT KNOX, Ky. — With the opportunity to visit the National Corvette Museum on the schedule, more than 30 motorcycle riders from around the installation gathered at Lindsey Golf Course July 12.
Considered the third safety check ride of the year for the Fort Knox Safety Office, mentors and riders from various units and organizations encircled lead mentor Sgt. 1st Class Kourtney Summers to receive a route briefing.
The rides are designed for new riders to learn how to travel in a group and techniques for safely riding in different traffic patterns and road conditions. Leaders said it is also a great way for riders of all experience levels to bond with others and share experiences.
The final ride of the year is scheduled for Sept. 20. For more information, call 502-624-4395.
