PICATINNY ARSENAL, N.J. - On June 28, Maj. Gen. John T. Reim helped make things right and hosted the promotion ceremony of Lt. Col. Frank Misurelli at the Linder Conference Center on Picatinny Arsenal. The now Col. Misurelli should have been promoted in 2008.

Misurelli began his career in the Air Force before transitioning to the Army where he spent several years serving in a diverse range of assignments with the Army Reserves and National Guard across New York, New Jersey, and Delaware. His assignments ranged from commanding infantry units to public affairs, and personnel management.

Following the September 11th attacks, Misurelli was recalled to active duty as the Army Chief of Public Affairs in New York City, and then became the executive officer for the 2nd ROTC Brigade at Fort Dix, where he coordinated ROTC programs across the northeast, impacting countless young cadets and future officers.
