Opening season at Forest Potok in Bolesławiec
The Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Bolesławiec invites you to Leśny Potok at Jeleniogórska Street in Bolesławiec.
The complex is divided into a section of swimming and plant filters – water filtered through the plant biosystem, without the involvement of chemicals. In the complex there are also technical facilities, cloakroom and catering facilities, pedestrian-driving, playground, beach volleyball, tennis courts, a jetty for anglers. The area is fenced and illuminated. At the complex there is a parking lot for 66 parking spaces.
In the pre-war period, the tank was used as a place of recreation, it also served as a retention tank. During World War II, the facility was partially destroyed and used until the end of the 1970s by the military. Thanks to the revitalization of the water reservoir, a small retention object was reconstructed, which organizes the hydrological and flood-proof situation in the city.
On 17–21.06.2024, the facility will be open from 14.00 to 19.00. From 22.06.2024, we invite you to the facility every day from Monday to Sunday from 10.00 to 19.00.
Nearly half a thousand film submissions for 16. Solanin Film Festival in Nowa Sól
This year, 469 submissions were sent to the Solanin competitions organized as part of the Solanin film Festival in Nowa Sól. - 6 independent films, 8 animations and documentaries and 9 other stories.
Solanin will take place on August 21-25 in Nowa Sól.
Veterans Day in Bolesławiec: a motorcycle rally
This year the 2nd edition of Veteran Day Motor Rally was held. More than 50 motorcyclists participated. As part of the rally, veterans of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment and other uniformed services visit the graves of deceased soldiers, on which they layed flowers and lit candles. Participation in Veteran's Motorcycle Rally is an expression of the memory and respect for all soldiers killed on missions outside the country.
They also visited the nearby monument at Grunwaldzka street in Boleslawiec.
