(12:15 p.m.) Power outage nears end while severe weather increases
The power outage exercise may have impacted your normal routine, but it should be over no later than 3 p.m.
-The fire alarm monitoring systems are now fully restored. If you have any alarm activations or concerns, please call 646-5300 or 0444715300.
-The TAP office is working remotely only today and can be reached at +39-327-583-4843 or +39-389-937-9668.
-The Education Center’s power has been restored and the afternoon counseling will resume as scheduled. Tuition Assistance deadline ends today.

(10:08 a.m.) Today’s food options
The power outage exercise may have impacted your normal routine, but it should be over no later than 3 p.m.
As you plan for lunch today, the current options include the food court, the Mensa, the Commissary and the food stands next to the movie theater.
The Exchange and Commissary are now open for their regular hours.
The Post Office and ACS have also resumed normal hours.

Expected power restoration update.
- The Black Start Exercise has impacted some services across Caserma Ederle. We expect the power to be on by 3 p.m. today. Check with your leadership if telework is an option today.
-Currently some fire alarms are currently inoperable. If you have any alarm activations or concerns, please call 646-5300 or 0444715300. We will post an update on The Garrison Outlook at www.army.mil/Italy when alarm monitoring capabilities are restored.
- Looking for a coffee? The Java Café is open at this time, so your coffee fix is assured. Dunkin along with food court services are now open.

Update on Caserma Ederle power outage!
The power is out at Caserma Ederle, but personnel from our garrison Directorate of Public Works team are working to restore power and some locations are already on backup power.
(5:27 a.m.) Power is out to buildings on Caserma Ederle and will be restored as quickly as possible.
Heads up! Today (Tuesday, May 21) U.S. Army Garrison Italy is testing its ability to react to a power outage on post.
Because the exercise includes power outages in the Vicenza Military Community, some garrison services will be affected. This could include barracks, fitness centers, The Exchange, shoppette, commissary and other community services.
