FORT KNOX, Ky. — More than 600 people gathered in front of Waybur Theater April 13 to either witness or participate in the 2024 Month of the Military Child Color Run.

At the start, participants followed the sidewalk around Brooks Parade Field in anticipation of getting peppered with multi-colored chalk powder along the route.

Officials from Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation encouraged participants to enjoy the color-fest for as long as they wanted to during the hour-long event: “Have fun until the color runs out.”
