Farmers Protest April 4 (and potentially the 16)

Farmers say they are changing the form of protests. April 4 and 16 this year will happen!

The Nationwide Protest Committee informs about changes in the form of protests. There will be no road and city blockades. The protest takes a slightly different form. The nationwide Protest Committee announced that the protests in the coming days will look slightly different than recently. There will be videos on social media, farmers will visit the parliamentary offices and propose meetings. On April 4 this year, farmers are to meet under the offices of deputies, senators and MEPs

We will report at 4 April a protest under the offices of deputies, senators and MEPs and, if possible, we drive tractors there. The planned protest will last 4 hours (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.).

 Easter Breakfast for almost 1200 people

Hundreds of people took part in the Easter breakfast in Jadłodajnia run by the Poznań-old Elizabethans. Jacek Jaśkowiak, the Mayor of the City, also attended the meeting.

Easter breakfast in Jadłodajnia at Łąkowa street 4 are prepared for as many as 1,200 people. Everyone could start Sunday from Mass at 8:45 a.m., after which the breakfast prepared by Caritas began in the garden. Together with the volunteers (as well from USAG Poland), the packages were also handed out by Jacek Jaśkowiak, the Mayor of Poznań.

Each of the participants of the event was also given a Christmas package, in which food was found. Christmas packages also went to seniors who spend Easter time alone.

Strong wind warning in Poznan

The Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) has issued a warning about strong wind. You should be careful.

The occurrence of wind with an average speed 30 km/h (18 mph) to 45 km/h (28 mph) is forecast, in gusts of up to 75 km/h (46 mph), from the west and southwest. The warning is in effect on Tuesday (April 2) from time to time. 11-19. The warning covered north-western Poland, including Poznań and Poznań district. The probability of the occurrence of this weather phenomenon IMGW was estimated at 80 percent.
