Monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony set for March 22

Six Soldiers and two Department of the Army civilians will walk the stage at Sadowski Center at the March 2024 retirement ceremony Friday, March 22, beginning at 3 p.m. The event will also be live streamed on Fort Knox Facebook.

The monthly Fort Knox retirement ceremony will be Friday, March 22 at 3 p.m. in Sadowski Center and hosted by Maj. Gen. Bryan Howay, First Army Division East commanding general, and Command Sgt. Maj. William Nicholson of 4th Cavalry Multi-Functional Training Brigade.

The public is invited, and the event will also be live streamed on Fort Knox Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/events/1964725763898589/ (Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome and Firefox web browsers recommended).

The following retirees will be honored during the ceremony:

· Lt. Col. Andrew Fortenberry, Fort Knox MEDDAC, 21 years of service

· John Campbell, U.S. Army Garrison-Fort Knox Public Affairs Office, 40 years of service

· Sandra Kylor, U.S. Army Human Resources Command, 39 years of service

· 1st Sgt. Melissa Berberian, 3rd Medical Recruiting Battalion, 20 years of service

· 1st Sgt. Mark Britton, 4th Cavalry Multi-Functional Training Brigade, 21 years of service

· Master Sgt. Thomas Harper, U.S. Army Cadet Command, 21 years of service

· Master Sgt. Jason Huey, 1st Theater Sustainment Command, 20 years of service

· Sgt. 1st Class Krystal Killian, U.S. Army Recruiting Command, 24 years of service
