The Team Redstone Financial Symposium on March 7 will provide a full day of in-person sessions on financial planning, estate planning and behavioral finance.

The symposium is March 7 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at The Overlook,150 Golf Course Road, with registration and refreshments at 8:30 a.m.

“Now, more than ever, each one of us must plan our own retirement, not just money-wise, but health-wise,” Olivia Pierce, the Financial Readiness Program manager at Army Community Service, said. “Hence, the sub-title: Investing in Health, Wealth and Happiness.

“So often we have an expectation that others should be doing this for us: employer, spouse, children,” she said. “Our employers should guide our retirement and our spouse and children should guide our happiness. Ultimately, however, the onus is on us to map out and plan the lives we want to live, now and in the future.’’

A free lunch and an Army Emergency Relief campaign kickoff will be at 11:30 a.m. An expert panel Q&A will be at the end of the event. Certificates of completion will be offered for Certified Licensing Professional submission.

The sessions include:
