NETCOM hosts Fort Huachuca’s 2024 Black History Observance

The Army is proud to highlight its long-standing commitment to being a diverse, equal and inclusive organization where all have an opportunity to be all they can be.

FORT HUACHUCA, Ariz. – The U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) is scheduled to host the garrison Black History observance Feb. 27 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. in the Greely Hall Auditorium.

During Black History Month, the Army reflects on the contributions of Black Americans to the history of our nation and defense of our country. The Army is proud to highlight its long-standing commitment to being a diverse, equal, and inclusive organization where all have an opportunity to be all they can be.

This year’s theme “African Americans and the Arts” highlights the Black American influence in the fields of visual and performing arts, literature, fashion, film, music, and other forms of cultural expression. The Army story cannot be told without recognizing the tremendous contributions of Black Americans to our country and our history.

Tomorrow’s event will feature guest speaker Col. Ulekeya S. Hill, Assistant Chief of Staff for NETCOM, G5, and showcase a variety of musical and cultural anecdotes for the public’s entertainment.

DoD ID Card holders and those with access to Fort Huachuca are cordially invited to attend.
