The Army is rapidly developing a new app to better connect Soldiers and Families to installation information, programs and services. IMCOM is actively seeking input and feedback to ensure this app is most effective for our People and supports our senior commanders. U.S. Army Garrison Japan would like community feedback on yard sales. Should we conduct them or do most families just sell used items via online platforms? If we do host community sales, how many times a year? What would you like to see for the sales?

New Business Hours for Camp Zama Pet Care Center

The Camp Zama Pet Care Center has new hours of operation.

Monday through Wednesday, and Friday: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (Closed for lunch from noon to 1 p.m.)

Thursday: 8 a.m. to noon

Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: Closed

Volunteers Needed for Yatoyama Park Clean-Up

Yatoyama Park officials are looking for community volunteers who can assist with a clean-up project to help remove tree roots from 10 a.m. to noon Nov. 27. This will require some heavy physical work!

Location: Yatoyama Park (Address: 1-6-1 Iriyahigashi, Zama; only a mile away from Camp Zama)

Number of Volunteers: At least five (5) volunteers

What to bring: Water and gloves

It’s almost that time! TRICARE open season began Nov. 13 and will continue through Dec. 12.

・Continued Health Care Benefit Program (CHCBP).

You can only purchase CHCBP coverage within 60 days of loss of eligibility for TRICARE.

Outside of TRICARE open season, you may only change plans if you experience a TRICARE Qualifying Life Event.
