Unfortunately, the internet is not always a safe place for children. Many criminals use the anonymity offered by the internet to mask their true identities and prey on vulnerable children and teenagers.

Risks include inappropriate content, violations of privacy and personal information, cyber predators, cyberbullying, scams and malware.

For an overview on protecting children online and how to recognize and report potential risks, check out the Army Criminal Investigation Command (CID) cybercrime flier here.
