U.S. Army Garrison Fort Hamilton held its annual flu shot vaccination campaign Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2023, in the garrison gymnasium.

Staff from the U.S. Military Academy West Point Keller Army Community Hospital Public Health and Occupational Health departments administered the vaccinations.

Annual flu shots are required for those who work in the Directorate of Emergency Services, Child Development Center, Child and Youth Services and for all military personnel.

Civilian personnel with valid Department of Defense or government identification cards were also eligible to receive a flu shot.

Staff who conducted the vaccinations included Maj. Renzie Rahim, Kaitlyn Ellert, Toni McIntyre, Theresa Rau, Sgt. 1st Class Thyrone Jones, Regina Delamarter, Drew Weber, Hilda Deleon, and Mount Saint Mary's College nursing student Catherine Masayda.
