Command Sergeant Major Dawadrain D. Clark Sr. hails is a native of Ocala, Florida. He enlisted in the Army on May 27, 1994 and completed Basic Combat Training (BCT) at Fort Jackson, South Carolina and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Lee, VA where he was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty of 92A (Automated Logistics Specialist).

CSM Clark’s military and civilian education includes the Primary Leadership and Development Course, the Basic Noncommissioned Officer Course, Advanced Noncommissioned Officer Course, Drill Sergeant Academy, Battle Staff Course, Operational Contracting Specialist Course, Air Assault School, and he is a graduate of the Sergeants Major Academy (Class 66). He holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Management, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resource Management from Hawaii Pacific University, and a Master’s of Science Degree in Healthcare Administration.

CSM Clark’s assignments include Squad Leader 5-158 Aviation Battalion Giebalstadt, Germany; Section Leader 227th General Support Company, Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Senior Drill Sergeant Whiskey Company 266th Quartermaster Battalion Fort Lee, Virginia; First Sergeant 540th Quartermaster Company Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; First Sergeant 40th Composite Supply Company Schofield Barracks, Hawaii; First Sergeant 1st Inland Cargo Transfer Company Grafenwoehr, Germany; Division G4 Sergeant Major Headquarters and Headquarters Battalion 3rd Infantry Division Fort Stewart, Georgia; Command Sergeant Major 589th Brigade Support Battalion; Command Sergeant Major 1st Armored Division Sustainment Brigade.

CSM Clark combat and operational services includes two deployments to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2003, 2010) and two deployments to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom (2009, 20017).

His awards and decorations include the Legion of Merritt Medal, the Bronze Star Medal, the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal (2 OLC), the Army Commendation Medal (five OLC), the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Army Achievement Medal (6th OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (8th award), National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Service Star, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with Bronze Service Star, Iraqi Campaign Medal two Campaign Stars, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Overseas Service with Numeral three Device, Noncommissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon with Numeral five Device, Army Service Ribbon with Bronze Service Star, NATO Service Medal, the Drill Sergeant Identification Badge and the Air Assault Badge.

CSM Clark is married to the former Valerie D. Reason, Ocala, Florida, they have two children Dawadrain D. Clark Jr. and Madison Clark.
