Security Assistance Training Management Organization's (SATMO) SATCO 1st Sgt. Samuel Meadows completed the Pristina Half Marathon Sept. 24, placing 15th overall with a time of 1:36:51. Meadows is supporting the Kosovo Security Forces Non-Commissioned Officers Academy Mobile Training Team and took time to support local community events alongside his KSF partners.
SATMO is a subordinate organization to the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command and deploys U.S.-based teams to execute security assistance missions outside the continental United States. SATMO has successfully deployed training and advisory teams to every geographic combatant command, hence the motto "Training the World, One Soldier at a Time." Their mission is vital to achieving U.S. national security objectives and stability in key locations throughout the world.
