Team CECOM,

Last week, CSM Conaty and I had the opportunity to travel down to AMC HQ in Redstone, AL, for the AMC Commander’s Forum. It was fantastic to hear from both current and former senior leaders, as well as have those meaningful discussions regarding the future of our AMC enterprise! I’m so grateful that our time spent with our enterprise teammates at AMC HQ was very beneficial and well-coordinated. CSM Conaty and I left the conference fully prepared to (artfully) "go on the offense" with CECOM.

While we were there, we also had the opportunity to witness CECOM's very own Deborah Devlin's induction into the AMC Hall of Fame! Deborah is a former human resources executive who, throughout her 30-year career, led efforts to ensure that CECOM and AMC hired, trained, and managed its people effectively. Deborah’s approach to personnel management has been recognized throughout the Army as the gold standard. It’s always great to acknowledge those who established the groundwork for our C5ISR community, celebrate the historic achievements of our workforce, and look toward our bright future!

On the note of recognizing our workforce, our TYAD teammates are currently working with the Security Assistance Group-Ukraine (SAG-U) and Remote Maintenance Distribution Center-Ukraine (RDC-U) to refine the radar repair and training mission in the European theater. The team is conducting emergency repairs on vital radar systems, conducting live fire testing to validate the systems, and assisting in the transfer of battle-damaged equipment back to partner nation. Opportunities like this not only help to support our allies, but further refine our internal processes to achieve efficiencies in sustaining the warfighter.

To all our teammates worldwide, thank you for everything you do. I am always so grateful for this collective CECOM team and the tremendous work you accomplish every single day! Thank you for your continued dedication to the Army mission, our Warfighters, and our Nation.

This We’ll Defend!

Sincerely,

MG Robert Edmonson II
