PEARL HARBOR, Hawaii- (Sept. 2, 2009) Veterans, family and military members convened on the deck of the USS Missouri to commemorate the 64th anniversary of the ending of World War II. The battleship was anchored in Tokyo Bay on Sept. 2, 1945 after the Japanese came aboard to sign surrender documents, officially ending the war.
