FORT GREGG-ADAMS, Va. — Homefront Players in association with Beaty Theater will hold auditions Aug. 6-7 for its second production of the 2023-2024 season, Hairspray.
Director Amy Holland and Musical Director Travis West are seeking actors for principal and ensemble roles for the upcoming production. Hairspray is scheduled to run Nov. 3-19
Auditions for will take place from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. Aug. 6 and 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. Aug. 7 at Beaty Theater, 4300 Sustainment Ave, Fort Gregg-Adams.
Those auditioning should prepare to sing 32 bars of their choice. Please bring sheet music in the correct key (accompanist provided) and be dressed for movement. Readings will be from the script. All performers should be strong singers who move well.
Callbacks will be from 6:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. Aug. 11.

All roles are open. Performers age 16+ will be considered for all roles except Little Inez who can be played by a performer age 9+ No performers paid.
Rehearsals are expected to begin the first week of September for a Nov. 3-19 run.
All auditioning will need to have access to Fort Gregg-Adams.
