Team CECOM,

I had the honor of saying farewell to COL Dan Horn and welcoming COL James Crocker at the Tobyhanna Army Depot Change of Command ceremony. In addition to COL Crocker officially taking the reins, we also welcomed SGM Michael Riggs to the team!

I want to sincerely thank COL Horn for his outstanding leadership in guiding the depot to the renowned, recognized, and highly-respected position as a world-class organization that it’s currently in today. To our new leaders, I am confident you will excel in serving as the lead voice of the warfighters who depend on TYAD for the full lifecycle support of their C5ISR equipment.

On that note, I’d also like to take the opportunity to acknowledge and share my appreciation for our Tobyhanna workforce. I was recently at the Senior Leader Readiness Forum in the D.C. Capital region where Army Senior Leaders noted the importance of CECOM’s partnerships and support in Europe and the Ukraine. Specifically, the effectiveness of some of our TYAD capabilities and equipment. Recognition like this at the senior leader level is always motivating and refreshing, and I wanted to pass it along.

As a reminder, the annual Federal Employees Viewpoint Survey site re-opened last Tuesday and has been extended to Friday, 14 JULY. If you have not had a chance to finish, I strongly encourage every civilian member of our workforce to take 20 minutes to complete it. We need your help to reach the Army’s goal of 50% participation before the survey closes. Remember your input directly provides the Army with crucial information to build on strengths and improve areas as a professional organization. Please contact our CECOM G1 or the OPM NIH website for more information.

To all our teammates worldwide, thank you for everything that you do. Your work and our mission truly matters!

Combat Power! Always Ready!

Be All You Can Be!

Sincerely,

MG Edmonson II
