SAN DIEGO, CA—The U.S. Army Equity and Inclusion Agency is encouraging soldiers and civilians to attend this year's Joint Women's Leadership Symposium (JWLS) in San Diego from June 29 to July 1.
The multi-day symposium is one of the largest gatherings of military women in the country and offers attendees the opportunity to discuss Army plans and policies, build their leadership skills, and interact with participants from across the Department of Defense and the world.
The three-day event will include a wide range of workshops, panel discussions, keynote speeches, and networking opportunities, all designed to foster personal and professional growth. Experts from various fields will share their expertise on topics such as leadership strategies, career advancement, work-life balance, and navigating challenges to enhance resilience and strength as women service members.
The JWLS is a multi-day event focused on Service Women within the Federal Government; attendance and support of this event directly support the Secretary of the Army's priority to "Recruit and Retain talent." Individuals of all genders who are passionate about empowering women, advancing their leadership skills, or simply seeking inspiration are encouraged to attend this transformative event.
The symposium is open to active, reserve, and retired military service members from all service branches, DoD Civilians, the National Guard, NOAA, and international allies who are interested in supporting uniformed service women.
Those interested in attending should secure permission and funding through their chain of command and notify the Army Equity and Inclusion Agency of attendance at:
