WHEELER ARMY AIRFIELD, Hawaii — There will be 100% ID card checks at all Army-guarded installations on Oahu beginning June 1 through June 14.

All vehicle occupants age 18 and older entering the installation will be required to provide proof of identification.

If heading to an Army installation between 1-14 June, motorists are advised to plan extra time for their commute. To assist with traffic flow, motorists should have ID cards ready for all passengers in their vehicle before they arrive at the checkpoint.

Visitors to the Army installations should get a pass in advance from a visitor control center. The Tripler Army Medical Center (TAMC) Visitor Control Center (VCC) is open 24/7 and at the Lyman Gate at Schofield Barracks open weekdays, 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Please note, the Leilehua VCC is closed until further notice.
