BOLESLAWIEC, Poland - The ties between service members and civilians keep growing stronger in Poland.

American and Polish military forces recently showcased their capabilities during "Train with your Army" day in Boleslawiec. Civilians from the surrounding community volunteered to participate in a variety of skills courses including SERE, first aid, and weapons familiarization provided by the Polish 23rd Field Artillery Regiment.

U.S. Soldiers with 4th Infantry Division showed their High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) capabilities and interacted with the Polish civilians, reinforcing how valuable the partnership is with their Polish allies.

At the end of the event, the Polish military celebrated by providing certificates of appreciation to the participants, preparing a banquet, and sharing Polish meals ready to eat with the American Soldiers and civilian guests. It was an event that built stronger bonds between American and Polish fighting forces and the communities they protect.
