Three Fort Knox Eagles sign letters of intent to play college sports days before graduation

FORT KNOX, Ky. — Two days prior to graduation, three Eagles athletes from Fort Knox Middle High School signed letters of intent to play sports at the university level.

Surrounded by coaches, faculty, friends and family members May 17, Allston Leggette, Maurice Bonner and Dom Davis thanked those who impacted their pursuit of sports and encouraged juniors to take up the mantle for next year.

Bonner signed a letter of intent to play basketball for the Titans at Terra State Community College in Fremont, Ohio. He played guard for the Eagles his senior year.

Leggette, who played forward with the Eagles, also signed to play for the Titans.

After positions as running back and defensive back with the Eagles football team his senior year, Davis will attend Midway University, located northwest of Lexington, Kentucky, in the fall to play for the Midway Eagles.

All three will join their Class of 2023 colleagues Friday night to walk the stage at their graduation.
