Local National College Intern Program

U.S. Army Garrison Japan is offering a four-week-long internship program for host-nation college students at Camp Zama and Kure Pier 6 from Aug. 7 to Sept. 1.

This is an excellent opportunity for students interested in learning more about what it’s like to work in an international workplace, while also developing beneficial career skills.  Students will have the unique opportunity to work alongside Soldiers, civilians and Japanese personnel, while experiencing native English conversation and American culture.

The program offers a wide variety of positions, that will allow participants to deepen their understanding of "work" through on-the-job experiences, field trips, group work, presentations and more.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about this program, please visit https://home.army.mil/.../publ.../college-internship-program
