SATMO trains Caribbean partner, strengthens maritime security

Caribbean Basin Security Initiative (CBSI) Technical Assistance Field Team (TAFT) personnel discuss Utility Boat operations on the waters off St. Kitts  during recent training in the Eastern Caribbean Sea. The TAFT consists of U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Army personnel that provide maintenance and operational readiness support to 13 Caribbean nations. These efforts enhance regional security by improving partner maritime security capacity. The U.S. Army Security Assistance Command, through its Security Assistance Training Management Organization, provides the Army personnel that make up this TAFT.
