FORT KNOX, Ky. — Soldiers and civilians from Fort Knox will have the opportunity on June 15 to participate in the year’s second motorcycle safety check ride hosted by Fort Knox Safety.
Moved to the week of the Army's 248th Birthday, organizers and safety officers will conduct the ride on that Friday with a linkup at the Lindsey Golf Course parking lot beginning at 8:30 a.m. After filling out manifest and safety paperwork and receiving safety briefings, the group will travel to Smothers Park along the riverfront in Owensboro and Moonlite Bar-b-q Inn for lunch before returning that afternoon.
