FORT KNOX, Ky. – The U.S. Army Recruiting Command Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention program is hosting an award-winning guest speaker Thursday, April 27 for Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.

Sexual violence prevention advocate, spoken word artist, and U.S. Army retiree Obbie West will present life depicting poetry on a variety of topics from 1 to 3:45 p.m. at Waybur Theater on Old Ironsides Avenue. West, a first place Keith L. Ware Communications Award winner, travels the world promoting awareness through training and education throughout the U.S. military, universities and communities at large.
