1st Sgt. Samuel Meadows and Master Sgt. Matthew Deane of the Security Assistance Training Management Organization (SATMO) train at Fort Bragg, North Carolina for the 2023 Best Ranger Competition. Training includes evacuating a casualty, assembling and employing an AN/PRC-150 radio, the prusik climb, and identifying and assembling weapons. SATMO, a subordinate organization of the U.S. Army Security Assistance Command, deploys training teams globally in support of U.S. foreign policy and Army security assistance missions.
