After three years of construction on Yano Range to prepare it for training operations as the U.S. Army’s third Digital Air-Ground Integration Range, contractors are nearly ready for the final phase — installing the instrumentation.

FORT KNOX, Ky. — Despite setbacks in weather and other issues, officials in charge of construction on the Army’s third Digital Air-Ground Integration Range say they are on track to complete the range by the start of 2024.

The final phase involves installing the instrumentation needed to fully automate the range and be able to capture every aspect of the training in real time.
