Last week LTG Piatt, the Director of the Army Staff, was the inaugural speaker hosted by #WestPoint_USMA for the Sustainable Infrastructure, Resilience, & Climate Consortium (SIRCC) speaker series. SIRCC is a partnership between @ASArmyIEE and @WestPoint_USMA to develop future Army leaders to understand how the Army Climate Strategy will enhance the Army’s ability to fight and win our nation’s wars by increasing the resilience of our installations and the capabilities of our fighting force while decreasing the vulnerability of our supply lines. He discussed the connection between environmental & national security, modernization, & the challenges of climate change. Excited to hear from @ASArmyIEE next!
