Team CECOM,

Hard to believe we’re already over a quarter of the way through the year!

Last week, the CG and CSM both traveled to JBER Alaska for an RSOI and to visit our CECOM workforce located there, as well as the 11th Airborne Division, 58th Signal Battalion, and AFSBn-Alaska leadership. While there, MG Edmonson and CSM Conaty attended several office calls and received updates from CECOM L-STRs and the SCR regarding LAR support and C5ISR readiness in the Arctic environment. The CG and CSM also awarded coins to CECOM teammates in recognition of their accomplishments within their respective job field. Travel opportunities like this one truly highlight the importance of the work you all do around CECOM everyday!

This week the CG is on travel again down in Huntsville, AL to support our MSCs during the 2023 AUSA Global Force Symposium and Exposition. This year’s AUSA will explore the capabilities outlined in the Army’s Modernization Strategy which drives transformational change. More to follow on the results of the symposium next week.

As the Army continues with its new wide-scale rebranding efforts and recruiting tagline, I encourage you to review the Army Branding guidelines and begin applying the updated CECOM templates. If you are looking for updated CECOM PowerPoint templates, logos, and other assets please take a look at the CECOM Branding Toolkit on SharePoint link listed below.

Moving forward, please begin implementing the new Army branding when developing new presentations and products. Existing products are still acceptable with the original branding. Currently, there is no phase out date in the near future, but will keep you posted on any changes. If you have any questions regarding branding, please reach out to your public affairs office or unit public affairs representative listed below:

As promised, the Team APG APBI 2023 registration website is now live. You can find it here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/team-apg-advance-planning-briefing-to-industry-apbi-2023-tickets-568139740257

Please encourage your government attendees to register, as it assists in tracking the total number of individuals supporting this event as well as helping make sure we don’t inadvertently violate any fire code requirements should we find the in-person experience too hard to resist for a large number of attendees.

Thank you all for your continued support, dedication and commitment to our Soldiers and our Nation.

Be all that you can be!

Combat Power! Always Ready!

Sincerely,

Liz Miranda
