FORT KNOX, Ky. — Throughout the week of March 27-31, senior leaders from around Fort Knox preparing to retire in the next two years are receiving special Executive-Transition Assistance Program briefings tailored to their unique needs.
More than 25 are participating in the workshops and training sessions at Palma Hall. Andrew Cooper, chief of the Fort Knox TAP, said though they have implemented a workshop model based on the one at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, this one is focused only on the colonel, chief warrant officer, and sergeant major grades.

The sessions include briefings from Department of Labor and other guest speakers as well as briefings from TAP staff members. The information includes resumes, dressing for success, salary and benefit packages, and Veterans Administration benefits and services.
