Fort Sill Fire Department received a call from Lawton Fire Department March 20 for mutual aid assistance for a storage facility engulfed in flames.
Deputy Fire Chief Matt Bannon stated, "Our mutual aid partnership with Lawton Fire Department paid off by being able to support the local community, and in turn, they support the Fort Sill community."
Fort Sill Fire Department won ID-T Fire Department of the year as well as Fire Prevention Team of the year for 2022.
