Washington's Birthday holiday schedule for facilities, services

Below is a list of modified hours, closures and other information over the holiday weekend, commemorating President George Washington's birthday.

Friday, Feb. 17 is a U.S. Army Pacific and garrison training holiday and a 25th Infantry Division day of no scheduled activity, or DONSA. Soldiers should check with their unit leadership to confirm whether they have a day off or not.

Monday, Feb. 20, is a federal holiday commemorating the birthday of George Washington. All garrison offices other than emergency services will be closed. On training holidays, most garrison offices are open but customers going to offices with uniformed staff may experience longer wait times than usual.

The Consolidated Legal Center and vehicle registration offices will be closed Friday, Feb. 17.

In observance of the federal holiday, the Tropic Lightning Museum and U.S. Army Museum of Hawaii will be closed Tuesday, Feb. 21.

All Island Palm Communities offices will be closing early on Friday, Feb. 16 at 3 p.m. They will reopen Tuesday, Feb. 21.

All four commissaries on island will be open regular hours today and through the weekend. On Monday, the Hickam, Kaneohe, and Schofield commissaries will be open 9 a.m.-5 p.m. The Pearl Harbor (NEX) Commissary will be open 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
