Why did you join the Army?

"I always wanted to be a helicopter pilot. I quickly changed my mind after joining, since the Army sent me down a career of marketing and advertising management. The Army offers lots of great benefits that I hope more people take advantage of."

What are your hobbies?

"My high school was also a culinary school, so I enjoy baking and cooking a lot. I've been making a lot of stew lately.

I'm also a voice actor for audiobooks and have played the violin for 10 years."

Spc. Vespia is also a seasoned traveler, having been to Vietnam, Taiwan and Central Europe and is headed on an adventure soon to Japan.

How do you keep in touch with your loved ones back home?

"I play video games with my brother - we will play just about anything on PC."
