By partnering with companies Recruit Military and Military.com for job fairs, information on career opportunities for military spouses is available. In transition from one duty station to another, the spouse must leave the job he/she holds to travel with the service member. Opportunities to attend career fairs aids spouses in finding employment in the new city or area the family is relocated to.
The Economics division of The American Legion handles all coordination of career fairs for both spouses and transitioning military personnel.
