<h4>Returning Heroes Home</h4>
<p>Funded entirely through charitable donations this $3.5 million 12,000 square foot building will house the Warrior and Family Support Center. The home will provide a relaxed location where wounded servicemen and their families can snack, access the internet, get child care, receive training, and coordinate outings as their Warrior in Transition is treated and recovers. <h4>City of Boerne Adopts 388th Military Intelligence Battalion</h4>
<p>The city of Boerne which is northwest of San Antonio and close to Camp Bullis, by order of official proclamation with the City Council and signed by the Mayor, adopted the 338th Intelligence Battalion. The 338th Military Intelligence Battalion was mobilized out of Camp Bullis. The City of Boerne orchestrated and sponsored a large farewell ceremony and festival for the unit prior to its deployment. Members of the business community donated financial resources, services, and goods toward the ceremony. The city has offered its services and help to the Families of the deployed Soldiers. </p>
<h4>Fisher Houses</h4>
<p>A home away from home for Warriors in Transition located on the Brooke Army Medical Center Campus on Fort Sam Houston. This nationally recognized program specifically provides accommodations to Wounded Warriors and their Families at or near the medical treatment facility that is providing medical care both inpatient and outpatient. The homes from 5,000 to 16,000 square foot are donated to the military installation by The Fisher House Program and then managed by the installation commander and support staff. </p>
<h4>Hiring Heroes Job Fair</h4>
<p>Hiring Heroes Job Fair is a community effort to provide work for Servicemen who are retiring, can no longer remain in service, or who are completing their tour of active federal service. Spouses of those Service members are also eligible to seek employment with a large number of federal and local organizations actively participating in the job fair. The job fair is held every six months on post and off post lasting 2 days and offers personnel transitioning assistance with writing resumes, completing job applications and interview support sessions.</p>
