Sgt. Angel Carrillo rides Rigby through a ring of fire and turnstiles to desensitize him for performing in ceremonies and parades with the Artillery Half Section. Other obstacles the horses deal with include the lights and siren from the police car, loud music as well as dogs and people coming up to them unexpectedly. The training was part of the training volunteer Soldiers get while doing special duty with the Artillery Half Section.

FORT SILL, Okla. (Nov. 4, 2022) — As the year comes to a close at Fort Sill, one of the most refreshing things to do is to look back on everything we've accomplished.
Sure, you could just scroll back through DVIDs or social media photo collections, but for the ultimate refresher we've compiled 10 of our favorite photos that we feel show the highest of the highs and lowest of the lows here at the Fires Center of Excellence and Fort Sill.
