FORT BUCHANAN, PR--USAG Fort Buchanan leaders, Garrison Command Sergeant Major Roderick W. Hendricks and Deputy to the Garrison Commander Yvette L. Castro, participated in the Puerto Rico Government Red Ribbon Week campaign kick-off hosted by Puerto Rico Governor Pedro R. Pierluisi at La Fortaleza (Governor’s Mansion) October 24, 2022. The event gathered heads of federal and local agencies in their commitment to prevent the use of illegal drugs, especially among our children.

Messages from Governor Pierluisi, U.S. Attorney for Puerto Rico, Stephen Muldrow; Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Director, Denisse Foster; FBI Special Agent in Charge, Joseph González and Puerto Rico Department of Public Safety Secretary, Alexis Torres emphasized the importance of parents’ participation in their children’s activities to prevent them from becoming users of illegal drugs.
