FORT KNOX, Ky. – The Child Development Center has been reaccredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children for the exemplary services it provides the Fort Knox community.
Valid for five years, the NAEYC accreditation process evaluates a variety of categories related to the care provided, curriculum, facilities, management and many other standards at the CDC during the rating. Overall, the CDC received a score of more than 97%.

Fort Knox Garrison Commander Col. Lance O’Bryan and Command Sgt. Maj. William Fogle presented CDC staff with the accreditation certificate during a training event at Fort Knox’s Hansen Center Oct. 7, where they praised them for the impact their dedication to providing top-notch care.
“When a Soldier or a spouse drops their child off,” said O’Bryan, “they know they can do so with the confidence that their child is going to receive the best care there is in the Army.”
