The local chapter of the Red Cross visited James D. Price Elementary School to each students about the importance of being prepared in the case of an emergency. Students in kindergarten through second grade received a booklet called "Prepare with Pedro the Penguin" to help explain the topic in a fun way they could understand.

The Yuma chapter of the Red Cross visited James D. Price Elementary School to each students about the importance of being prepared in the case of an emergency.

Yuma Proving Ground Installation Emergency Manager with the Directorate of Operations, Robert Barocio, organized the activity to mark National Preparedness Month.
