Sergeant Major Elian Strachan entered military service in 1991. Prior to assuming duties as the 10th Chaplain Corps Regimental Sergeant Major, Sergeant Major Strachan served in multiple key assignments including: Joint Command and Division Master Chaplain Assistant, Corps Chief Religious Affairs NCO, Battalion Command Sergeant Major, and most recently as the Acting Command Sergeant Major for the U.S. Army Chaplain Center and School, Fort Jackson, SC. His deployments include Kuwait, Bosnia, and Iraq.
