WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE, N.M. (August 2, 2022) COL Theo Unbehagen, Director of the Special Operations Forces - Test and Experimentation Center (SOF-TEC), White Sands Missile Range, provided an organizational update to members of MainGate United in Alamogordo, New Mexico, today. MainGate United is an organization that provides support for the missions at Holloman Air Force Base, White Sands Missile Range and Fort Bliss, Texas. Topics discussed were the unit mission, training and future activities. Unbehagen explained the benefits of White Sands Missile Range, to include facilities and a controlled training environment.
