The Christmas Spirit Foundation, the non-profit branch of the National Christmas Tree Association, is delivering spirit to Military families throughout the world. Since 2005, the Foundation has provided over 50,000 real Christmas trees to military families in the U.S. and overseas through its Trees for Troops program. In 2008, the Foundation provided 17,082 Christmas trees across 53 bases in the U.S. and overseas. Their efforts have spread through 17 countries as they commit to keeping the spirit of Christmas alive. Spouses and children of deployed service members find it particularly hard to cope with the season, but Trees for Troops provides a special gift to say thank you for everything our Military families sacrifice.
