WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE, N.M. (June 14, 2022) White Sands Missile Range welcomed a new Air Force Commander of the 586th Flight Test Squadron Detachment 1 during a Change of Command ceremony July 13 at the Cox Range Control Center as outgoing Air Force Commander Lt. Col. Roman T. Underwood relinquished command to incoming Air Force Commander Maj. Joshua D. Smith by the authority of Lt. Col. Alex C. Wolfard, Commander of the 586 Flight Test Squadron, Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico.
