Fort Hamilton releases draft Gas Station Kiosk Project Environmental Assessment for public comment

Fort Hamilton, NY. -- United States Army Garrison Fort Hamilton has released the draft Environmental Assessment and Finding of No Significant Impact for the proposed Gas Station Kiosk project, located on Fort Hamilton, and is seeking comments and feedback from the public.

The draft EA and FNSI address the site-specific impacts and evaluate the consequences of the proposed action on the natural and man-made environments. Any impacts related to the proposed action are anticipated to be minor and the best management practices provided in the draft EA and FNSI would further reduce any impact.

Copies of the draft EA and FNSI are available for review at the Brooklyn Public Library, 9424 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11209. The draft EA and FNSI will also be available on the Fort Hamilton website: https://homeadmin.army.mil/hamilton/index.php/download_file/225/0

The draft EA and FNSI are available for a 30-day public review and comment period.
