Army Surgeon General Visits V Corps

ANSBACH, Germany— V Corps hosted Lt. Gen. R. Scott Dingle, commanding general of the U.S. Army Medical Command and 45th Army Surgeon General, during a visit to Ansbach, Germany, Friday, June 3. Dingle was accompanied by Brig. Gen. Clinton Murray, commanding general, Regional Health Command Europe.

During his visit, Dingle met with V Corps’ leadership and surgeon cell to discuss mental health and the wellbeing of the Soldiers.

"The engagement between the Army Surgeon General, the Regional Health

Command-Europe commander, the V Corps deputy commander of sustainment, and the surgeon team highlighted the strategic level of visibility of our mission and the importance of Army Medicine across our formations,” said Col. Ross Witters, V Corps’ command surgeon.

After his meetings, Dingle took a tour of the rest of the headquarters before departing for the day.
