Three members of Army Support Activity-Black Sea received a commander’s coin from Lt. Gen. John S. Kolasheski, commanding general of V Corps April 19, 2022. The general handed coins to Neeli Southwick, ASA-Black Sea Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection chief; Bill Peppard, director of the directorate of emergency services at Novo Selo Training Area, Bulgaria; and John P. Smith III, director of the directorate of plans, training, mobilization and security, for their work in force protection and garrison security. Force and Health Protection are key priorities item for ASA-Black Sea that include anti-terrorism measures, law enforcement, and other large-scale emergencies. The ASA-Black Sea sites in Bulgaria and Romania are overseen by U.S. Army Garrison Rheinland-Pfalz in Germany, part of Installation Management Command-Europe. (Photo by Oana Copaceanu)
