The training prepared the PNG Defense force for future scenario based practical exercises. Combined military readiness and responsiveness requires combined training. Tamiok Strike 2022 allows our nations to come together to test bilateral concepts in support of the Mutual Defense Treaty. Tamiok Strike 22 is a bilateral Army to Army military exercise between United States Army Pacific (USARPAC) and the PNG forces.
