SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii – Know a high school student who lives in on post Army family housing? They may be eligible to apply for two scholarships – WinningEdge and BlueStar.
The WinningEdge Scholarship Program provides financial assistance to high school seniors, high school graduates, GED holders, and Certificate of Completion holders who are residents of communities managed by WinnCompanies or its affiliates and matriculating to a post-secondary educational institution.
Applicants must plan to enroll or are currently enrolled at a post-secondary educational institution.
For the 2022-2023 scholarship year, scholarships will range from $1,000-$2,000.
The Program was established in 2012 through WinnCompanies’ WinnCares initiative and has awarded nearly $500,000 to date.

Lendlease (US) Community Fund (LLCF), an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) charitable organization, established the BlueStar Scholarships program in August 2012.
Its mission is to provide college scholarships to dependent children of active duty or retired military members who are a high school senior residing in a Lendlease privatized community or are a current BlueStar scholar.
Recipients will be selected based on financial need, community service, leadership and extracurricular activities. Over $1m has been awarded to date.
