FORT KNOX, Ky. — Fort Knox Middle High School senior Lionel “LJ” Taylor signed his letter of intent March 24 to play football with Campbellsville University beginning in the fall.

With several members of the 2021-22 varsity squad watching in the school’s media center, Taylor made his decision official. Two other schools had offered him a scholarship before he chose Campbellsville.

Flanked by his parents and younger brother at the event, Taylor said he plans to study exercise science at Campbellsville and hopes to play professionally in the Canadian Football League after graduation. Afterward, he is hoping to settle into a job as a physical therapist.
